Tip for Tuesday~Concealer

For all of you ladies out there wondering when to apply concealer…
Here is your answer courtesy of The Beauty Department (aka my beauty bible:)

Makes sense right?  You don't want to apply concealer first then put on your foundation because it's just going to move where you put the concealer in the first place.  You are just wasting product!  Put on your foundation ( I recommend using a brush for the best coverage) then use a concealer brush to dab concealer on any red spots or imperfections.  The brush helps to cover the spot without too much product so you don't look cakey.

Here are my brush recommendations for Foundation and Concealer

I have to agree with The Beauty Department on their top Concealer picks

Cle de Peau Concealer (the holy grail of cream concealer sticks)
Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer (doesn’t creep into lines and make them look bigger)
Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer (covers up anything and everything and super emollient)
Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer (does not crease so great for covering undereye circles!)
Illuminare Mineral Concealing Foundation (amazing coverage for melasma/pregnancy mask/sun damage)

I personally use the Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer and it is the BEST!

Beaucoup D'Amour,
Megan
