Two weeks ago I made one of the best investments in my nutrition ever..my first juicer! After reading so much about the benefits of juicing, I knew I had to try it. Juicing is a way to pack in more fruits and vegetables in one serving than you could actually eat. The result is a drink with a densely packed amount of vitamins and minerals which improve energy, hair skin and nails, your cardiovascular system, your liver, your immune system and so much more!
Here are a couple of regular juicers...Gwyneth and her famous trainer Tracy Anderson. Need I say more?
After doing my research I found the best juicer on the market hands down was the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite.
It makes juice in record time with nothing having to be cut and has the easiest cleanup. The only problem is that it's a hefty $300 on Amazon. I chose to start on a smaller budget to see how I liked juicing before I made this type of investment. I bought the Juiceman All-In-One Juicer for a reasonable $80 from Target.
It works great and the cleanup is not too bad. I just rinse all the pieces right after I juice and stick it in the washing machine 1-2 times a week. That's not to say the Breville won't be on my Christmas list this year :) I have become so obsessed with my juicing these past couple of weeks, I can't go a day without it! It makes you feel so great right after you drink it. It fills me up after my workouts in the morning and has gotten me to drink less coffee which is great! Here are some of my favorite recipes so far and few more I'm looking forward to trying soon…I'd love to hear your favorites too!
