I get asked all the time if my eyelashes are fake. I like to tell people they came from the magic gold tube by L'Oreal from CVS for 8 bucks!
I've raved about this mascara many many times on this blog so you know I'm obsessed but that's only the half of it. The other half of great lashes is a good curler.
I know many of you ladies are probably frightened by this contraption but you must embrace the curler! It will do wonders for your lashes..trust me. Make sure you buy the mack daddy of eyelash curlers by Shu Uemura if you are going to do it. It's just the best.
Grab that curler and follow this wonderful tutorial from my very favorite blog The Beauty Department...
Steps:
Insert your lashes into the opened curler and line it up right at your lashline, but not too close that you pinch the skin.
Pinch at the lashline; mostly to grab hold, not to make a crimp.
With that holding, rotate your wrist so that your thumb stays mostly in the same place and acts as the pivot point while your pinkie finger goes from being around your chin area all the way up towards your forehead.
Now that the curler is inverted, give your lashes a proper upside-down pinch for about 5 seconds. Really squeeze it as tightly as you can (without pulling of course).
Rotate your hand back to the starting position and carefully open the curler then slide it away from your lashes.
Bravo!
Now add that Magical Mascara from the Gold Bottle and you're well on your way to the best looking "Fake Eyelashes"all day everyday.
