Confessions of a Makeup Addict: What's in My Bag?

1)  Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer  This is the best "foundation" out there to give you the lightest yet most flawless coverage with an SPF 20.  Bisque is my shade and oil free is my choice but comes in an array of colors and regular for you dryer skinned girls.  The end result is a natural glow and even skin tone, a perfect canvas for your other products to work their magic!

2)  Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage  A perfect duo of creamy and coverup.  The creamy side is great for under your eyes and the coverup side is necessary on any redness or blotches.  Shade 3 is my match and is perfect for hiding all those imperfections I hate. Also great for those days you choose to wear no "foundation."  Can be worn alone with bronzer and you are flawless!

3)  Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion  Gives your eyeshadow amazing all day staying power and is an absolute must if you wear eye makeup from 8 to 8 like me.  A little goes a long way and it ain't movin!

4)  Mac Eyeshadow in Naked Lunch  Pretty champagne color, just enough shimmer to put all over your lids to make your eyes sparkle and give your brows a little lift.
5)  Lancome Artliner in Brown  A Felt tipped liquid liner that goes on so easily and is the best out there with the most staying power for my classic "cat-eye" winged tip liner look.  You can create this look as soft or loud as you like because the wand is so easy to manipulate.  Brown is good for Blondes and Black is best for Brunettes for an everyday look that's not too harsh but very clean.

6)  Lancome Waterproof Eye Liner in Bronze  The ultimate eyeliner that is waterproof and does not move all day!  I use this on my lower lash line and use the other end of the pencil to smudge it in. A Brown shade (I like the bronze b/c it has a bit of shimmer to it) again better for the blondes and black or Fumee (a smokey grey) best for brunettes during the day.

7)  Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler  The Gold Standard when it comes to curling your lashes, no excuses not to own this amazing tool!

8)  Loreal Million Lashes Mascara  My Favorite for a voluminous lash look, believe me, I've tried them all!  Black is always Best and Do not buy waterproof unless you plan on going swimming.  The only thing it will do is ruin your beautiful lashes.  Cost 8 Bucks, comes in a Fab Gold Tube, and comes off easily with eye makeup remover, can't beat that ladies!

9)  Nars Orgasm Blush  A universally flattering shade on everyone!  A perfect blend of peachy/pink with just the right amount of shimmer to give you that flushed look while really defining your cheekbones.  The name really does say it all!
10)  Nars Laguna Bronzer  The shade has just the right amount of brown color and shimmer with no orange involved.  Use the Laguna shade heavier in the summer and lighter in the winter.  You will have the perfect glow all year round!

11) Bare Escentuals 100% Natural Lipcolor in Bellini I am not a "lipstick" kind of girl but this gives me just the right amount of color and is super moisturizing during the work day.  Bellini is a pretty peachy-pink shade and is very soft and natural looking.

12)  Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Polish in Amber  My go to Lip product. Gives me just the right amount of color, a peachy gold, with ultimate plumping power which I love!  Looks great layered on top of the Bellini lipstick or worn alone.  Comes in 28 amazing colors.  An All-Time Favorite!!

13)  Bobbi Brown Brush Set  Your Face is a Canvas, Makeup is your Paint, so you must use the correct tools to achieve a flawless look!  This is an investment but well worth it.  Start getting one at a time and build your way up!  Foundation, Blush, Bronzer, and EyeShadow Brushes are the Most Important.  They apply your makeup with just the right amount of product.  Take good care of them ( a shampoo bath once a month under warm running water) and they will last forever!
