Contemporary Christmas

I wanted to keep it super simple and non-traditional this year with the Christmas Decorations and achieved just that with the help of Target and Michaels.  They have some great ornaments, wreaths and garland in an array of bright colors which is the perfect palette for my home.
I love the look of ornaments hung from chandeliers so I took fishing line and hung some teal blue and silver ones I found at Target from the center of the fixture.  I tied the room together by adding a blue and silver ornament garland found also at Target along the back of my credenza.

I found these wood letters at Michaels and spray painted them silver metallic.  I then added a bracket to the back of them so they would stand up on their own on the mantel.  I bought the battery operated candles in the tea light and pillar sizes and put them in glass hurricanes with mini bright colored ornaments all from Target.  I found this fun colorful garland at Michaels and hung it underneath my mantel for a clean and festive look.

I love all the new LED lit branches at Target so I stuck them inside floral foam that I have inside this tall silver vase from TJ Maxx.  I then hung more of those bright colored mini ornaments on the branches.  This is our version of the Christmas Tree this year.  No mess and no water required!  Love it.

I found this amazing ornament wreath at Target and hung it over our mirror with ribbon.

I love my Charleston Snow Globe from Saks Fifth avenue.  Check your local Saks to see if they have your city.  Also makes a great gift!

Jazzed up the side table a little bit with some festive lights from Target.

How fun are these Disco Ball ornament Trees from Target?

Love a white wreath with colorful ornaments from Target and another glass hurricane and battery operated candle with bright ornaments as a vase filler all also from Target.

Kept it classy in the powder room with gold and silver garland from Target.  I took sparkly vase filler and lights and stuffed them inside this tall vase with white sticks coming out the top.  I also added a snow globe.  Looks so pretty with the lights off.
I found this glittery green garland at Target and my favorite chevron ornaments at Michaels.  I hung them from the chandelier in my kitchen using regular ornament hooks.

I hope everyone is enjoying a festive home as much as I am this season...
Happy Holidays!
Beaucoup D'Amour,
Megan
