Thirsty Thursday~My Favorites

I have a BIG Birthday weekend coming up so with that in mind I'm thinking about my favorite adult beverages.  Here are just a few of my must haves:

This is a tasty white wine from France.  It's fresh, crisp and affordable at around $10 a bottle.

This is a dry easy drinking Chardonnay with flavors of apple and pear with a creamy finish.  It's delish and right around $10/bottle.

My friend just introduced me to this Pinot and it is amazing!  It is just so yummy with cherry and chocolate notes.  A great Pinot is hard to find under $20 bucks and this one will cost you around $19.99.  So good!

Favorite Beer ever!  This is a delicious wheat beer brewed with Fresh Louisiana Strawberries.  It only comes out in the Spring of each year so get it while you can!

If you love Blue Moon, you are sure to love White Thai!  I'm a sucker for Belgian beers and this has that same delicious taste with notes of ginger (my other favorite thing) and is brewed right here in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.  It's light, citrusy, refreshing and a must buy for all you locals.  Luckily, you can find it on tap at a lot of local bars and restaurants.

~All of the Beer/Wine above is available for purchase at Total Wine~

~Megan's Skinny Margaritas~

Anyone who knows me knows I prefer Tequila!  I am a sucker for a good Margarita and this is how I like them:

-2 ounces of Lunazul Reposado Tequila
-1 1/2 ounces of Fresh Lime Juice using the Citrus Juicer
-1 ounce of Fresh Orange Juice using Citrus Juicer
-1 teaspoon of Agave Nectar Light

Shake all of those ingredients together with ice then pour over rocks.  Be careful when you are ordering this drink out because a lot of places will used pre-made margarita mix and that is anything but skinny.  You have to ask for Reposado Tequila shaken with lime, orange and agave on the rocks.  Some people look at my like I'm crazy but I know what I like!  I'm positive you will love it too.  I'm working on adding Jalepeno's to the mix because I love it extra Spicy!

CHEERS TO THE WEEKEND!

Beaucoup D'Amour,
Megan
